Holiday Schedule
Offices will be closed on the following Holidays:
New Year's Eve Day, New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans' Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday After Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve Day and Christmas Day.
If a holiday falls on a Saturday, then the holiday will be observed on the previous Friday. If a holiday falls on a Sunday, then the holiday will be observed on the following Monday.

Cemetery Online Burial Search - New Feature
Family members, friends, and others with an interest in researching family histories can now access and view the Pentwater Township Cemetery's burial records online from your computer. In addition to providing information about grave occupants, the service also has the ability to display family history information, if it is known. Site visitors can contribute additional family details via a special online submission form that displays on each grave record's page. Pentwater Township Wants You
The Township is in need of individuals who are interested in serving on its various Boards, Committees and Commissions. If you are interested in serving on the Planning Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals, Cemetery Advisory Committee, Board of Review, or Road Committee, please complete an application by clicking here (PDF opens in new tab). You can drop the form off at the Township offices during business hours, or email the clerk - clerk@pentwatertwp.org. If you are interested in becoming an elections official, please contact the Township Clerk.
Property Tax Exemption for Disabled Veterans
Governor Snyder recently signed P.A. 161 of 2013 which exempts property taxes for disabled veterans subject to certain criteria. The exemption is also available for the surviving spouse of a veteran who is not remarried and continues as long as the spouse remains unmarried.
